The beauty of fresh & clean fruit & the attention to detail of a good cocktail bar owner
Posted by Jacob O'Connor on 16th Jan 2013
Often when the sun sets…. more so than when the dawn breaks a cocktail in hand, good company and the promise of a fruitful night is something to smile about… The bartender looks over and notices the delight on your face as you take that first crisp sip from that chilled glass he so lovingly prepared for you. The bartender thinks to her/himself, "aren’t I spoilt as in my fridge has fresh pineapple, passion fruit, oranges, lemons & limes, mangoes, mandarins, a selection of berries & juices, I truly am prepared to dazzle my clients taste buds and meet the demands of my intricate cocktail list!"
Myself, only working at Mango Lounge for a short time now, was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail in all things 'cocktail' by the team. Fresh fruit, tools of the trade, an interesting & dynamic list that is backed by local & import beers (always a good cleanser in between a good cocktail) and just the dedication to ensuring client satisfaction and consistency of the end result; the drink itself.
That’s what you should expect on your next visit, think summer, think fruit, think satisfaction and admire the attention to detail…
