Mango Lounge Bar 2001 - 2024

After 23 years and many highs and lows, regrettably Mango Lounge Bar will be closing towards the end of this year. Despite every attempt, and our best efforts, we have been unable to secure a new lease at the premises at 17 Hall Street Moonee Ponds.
As we look back at the blood sweat and tears from over 2 decades, the challenges in start-up, our refit in 2010, and more recently the pandemic and the challenges that came with it, we also smile about the family and friendships that have been established for life.
We thank you all for your loyal support over the years and also pay tribute to our amazing team, past and present. We missed our 23rd birthday celebration this year knowing that there’ll be one kick-arse party to take us out. Till then it’s business as usual so keep a look out for your favourite dj or band to not miss their last mango gig!
But as one door closes another opens so keep your ears to the ground, sign up to our newsletter and watch this space closely to stay up to date with an exciting new project that’s in the pipeline and perhaps not too far away….
