Cox plate carnival 2013

When someone brings up Cox Plate I always get a warm fuzzy feeling. Not only is it a huge event on Mango’s annual calendar but it is spring, the days are longer, and it means summer is on its way. Mango’s Cox Plate after party is so much fun for all involved, we love working, everyone is so happy, the music is amazing and the night always turns out perfectly. We are so lucky to score back for Cox Plate 2013 two of Mango’s favourite Cox Plate DJ’s, kicking off the night we have the funky and dazzling DJ Allure and to keep the party going until the wee hours the wonderful and talented DJ D’Operator will hit the decks. For all of you non race goers don’t think that this is just a party for those who have been to the track, we will be open from 5 and everyone is welcome, Cox Plate is just a really good excuse to have a party, going to it is not a prerequisite. For those of you who may not know Cox Plate is actually a weekend carnival, on Friday night the Manikato Stakes are held and Mango will be open from 4pm for both pre and post-race drinks. Mango’s Cox Plate parties just get better year after year, what started many years ago as a large group of people wanting to pop in post-race has turned into an all-out fanfare that cannot be missed!
