Four years ago we wrote this post about two new mango employees from regional Australia. One is still with us but leaving the team today to further pursue her studies in science and microbiology. Having completed a Bachelor Degree, going on complete her Masters, Rachel has received a PhD scholarship. We’re thrilled about this amazing achievement but heartbroken that she will be leaving our team. From shaking cocktails behind the bar, to helping develop new staff, to navigating the complexities and ever-changing restrictions during the pandemic, Rachel has become an employee that is relied on and looked up to. Her developed relationships with both staff and regulars have cemented her as an integral part of the mango family and she will be missed by everyone. Rachel still lives nearby so expect to see her on the other side of the bar from time to time but drop in to catch her last shift tonight! Rachel, we love you and will miss you!
