A peek at our reopening
Posted by Dan Semkiw on 22nd Sep 2021
Around this time in Melbourne the football would ordinarily be taking the spotlight in the news and the plans for the grand final long weekend would be top priority for many. This year is different. In likely one of Melbourne’s most watched press conferences, the premier announced details around Victoria’s roadmap to reopening. But as violent clashes escalate in the CBD and a magnitude-5.8 earthquake hit Victoria, it's hard to keep thinking about when we’ll be mixing martinis! Fortunately with no known damage sustained in Hall St Moonee Ponds here are the basics. From an estimated date of 26 October, we’ll be open with a limited capacity for seated outdoor service only for those that are fully vaccinated. A week and a half later we’ll be moving indoors. From there, who knows so watch this space. There are many assumptions but one thing is for sure – the faster we vaccinate the faster we’re back to normal – so let’s do our part. Stay positive and stay safe!
