2014 over & out
Posted by Dan Semkiw on 11th Dec 2014
We wake up one morning and realise that we’re 2 weeks out from Christmas, we’re making plans for the New Year and 2014 is almost at an end. It’s been an awesome year at mango with plenty of big nights and fun times.
Our famous Cox Plate after party was massive this year, our Caterpillar fundraiser for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation was an amazing night plus an abundance of private functions kept staff on their toes. The cocktails also flowed in 2014 which we could really name the year of our most famous espresso martini. With dozens lined up across the bar on those big mango nights get in fast if you haven’t tried one!
As always, the music line up also didn’t disappoint. Showcasing dj’s such as James Steer, Emma Glitch, dj Texas, DJ AK, theonlyson, Peter Galeotti, BJ Rocka and of course mango’s resident D’Operator. With an ear always firmly to the underground but a liberal sprinkling of anthems and pop our almost “all vinyl” array of dj’s were an integral part of the mango vibe.
Mango will be closed from December 22 and re-open Friday 2 January. We’re still available for private functions during this time, with New Year’s Eve already booked, so get in touch if you have an event in mind. Management and staff thank you for your custom and wish you all the best for the festive season and the New Year. Bring on 2015!
